Course Registration Page


TO REGISTER:
1) Redemption Code from Clinical Education. Contact the Clinical Education Team at clinicaleducation.team@tuality.org to request the code.
2) Your Department.
3) Employee Number.
4) Manager Name.
5) Personal contact information including email address.
6) You will receive a confirmation email after registration is complete.

EMPLOYEES:

If you are an HMC employee and ACLS or PALS is not required for your job description, and you would like to take one of these courses as an elective, you can contact Clinical Education Team at clinicaleducation.team@tuality.org for assistance with determining eligibility to utilize a redemption code and arranging payment. All employees must provide HMC Human Resources Department with a copy of their ACLS or PALS card after the course by emailing askHR@tuality.org. For detailed instructions please refer to the Clinical Education Tualipedia page

 

At this time, redemption codes do not cover the costs for adding BLS to your cart. HMC employees are directed to separately register for BLS live classes through their HealthStream account. BLS classes are conducted in person weekly at the Health Education Center THEC building on campus at no cost to the employee.

 

KRONOS:

For employees who are required to take a certification course according to their job description, the actual class time spent is paid time through the employer.  Employees should submit an etee form to their time keeper for their actual class time hours using the 'pay code' for education hours or clock into Kronos utilizing the WORK RULE BUTTON for "education" and should NOT transfer out of their own department cost center. *Note: Please do not transfer your hours into the Clinical Education Dept. Cost center, it will be declined and you will need to resubmit your etee form.


NON-EMPLOYEES:

If you do not have a redemption code or are an agency staff member you will have the option to sign up with your personal credit card. A receipt will be sent to the email address that you enter during the registration process.

TEXTBOOKS: 

All students must have access to the current appropriate AHA course textbook for their individual use during and after the course. You may order textbooks during the registration process if you do not have access to a book to bring to class. If you select "Ship my book to me before class," any materials you purchase will be shipped to the address that you provide 2 business days following your registration. If you do not elect to purchase shipping, your materials will be waiting for you to pick up at class. Arrangements must be made to pick any materials up from the Training Center before your class. OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC) will not reimburse employees for course materials purchased for individual use.

LOANER MANUALS:

Course Manuals have been distributed throughout the HMC Campus departments.  Please check with your manager about obtaining the a course manual.  If none are available, contact clinicaleducation.team@tuality.org to request a loaner manual to check out.  

Please return the loaner manual in person within two (2) weeks of the course end date. Please do not use campus mail when returning your manual. Often manuals are lost or delayed through campus mail.  If the manual is not returned, the Clinical Education will charge the borrower the current rate at full price to replace lost or unreturned manuals.
