TO REGISTER, FOLLOW YOUR DEPARTMENT'S PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING TIME OFF/EDUCATION TIME. ONCE REQUEST HAS BEEN GRANTED FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW. YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO PROCEED.

 TO REGISTER: 

• Registration Code. Codes are available from your manager, unit educator or by calling the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing at (916) 734-9790.
• UC Davis Health System employee ID number
• Manager Name
• Personal contact information including your UC Davis Health System email address. Non-UC Davis email addresses will not be accepted.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend a registered course date you MUST contact the Cascade Training Center 48-hours prior to the course start time to transfer your registration to another date. You can reach training center staff anytime by calling toll-free at (877) 277-6778. For any staff member who registers for NRP and does not cancel appropriately or is a no-show, they will be responsible for paying for their next class.

TEXTBOOKS

Loaner textbooks are available from the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing. Staff may picked up the Loaner textbook at the CPPN, approximately one month prior to the class with a deposit. Loaner manuals must be returned in good condition immediately following course. Participants are responsible for the cost of the manual if it is not returned or is damaged. Call (916) 734-9790 or stop by the Broadway Building to pick up materials. UC Davis Medical Center Sacramento will not reimburse you for textbooks purchased from the training center for individual use. If you would like to purchase a textbook please contact the training center staff during normal business hours by calling (916) 905-0030 or toll free at (877) 277-6778.

PRE-COURSE MATERIALS
NRP pre-course materials and information about the NRP Online Exam can be accessed by clicking here. NRP students must take the online exam prior to attending the course. The NRP online examination must be taken no more than 30 days prior to course date. Participants must finish testing within 14 days of their original start date of the online exam. If the online exam is completed more than 30 days before course date, the examination is invalid and course participant must pay to take it again.
