BLS Hearcode Update Please note that the BLS Heartcode (a modified, self-paced version of the BLS class) is no longer required as a prerequisite for renewal within an ACLS or PALS course.
You will be trained on all BLS material, complete the necessary CPR skills tests, and take the BLS written exam during your ACLS or PALS course. Upon successful completion of all requirements, you will receive both a BLS card and an ACLS or PALS card.

Caregivers can check out a manual from Clinical Education and Practice (CEP) for their BLS, ACLS, PALS class by submitting a CEP AHA Manual Lending Microsoft Form: https://forms.office.com/r/
If you are interested in using your professional development funds to purchase books, you can access the AHA website: https://shopcpr.heart.org/ for book purchases, or you can purchase through your Cascade Registration.
CANCELLATION POLICY If a student is unable to attend their registered course date they MUST contact the Cascade Training Center 48-hours prior to the course start time to transfer registration to another date. Swedish will NOT authorize payment for other courses if the student does not follow the cancellation policy.
