Course Registration Page

TO REGISTER:
1. Use the Coupon Code provided by your manager. 
2. Employee number.
3. Manager's name. 
4. Personal contact information including email address. 
5. You will receive a confirmation email after registration is complete.

EMPLOYEES: TO REGISTER, FOLLOW YOUR DEPARTMENT PROCEDURE FOR REQUESTING TIME OFF/EDUCATION TIME. ONCE REQUEST HAS BEEN GRANTED FOLLOW THE PORTAL INSTRUCTIONS. YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO PROCEED. 

If your job description requires BLS, ACLS or PALS certification, you can take this class FREE OF CHARGE by entering the appropriate coupon code for your department. You can get this coupon code from your manager. If you are NOT REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN CERTIFICATION per your job description, you may sign up with your personal credit card. Click on “I do not have a coupon code.” A receipt will be sent to the email address that you enter during the registration process. Invoices will be audited and use of coupon codes for those who are not required to maintain certification may result in corrective action up to and including termination. 

IF YOU INTEND TO RENEW YOUR BLS/CPR WITH YOUR ACLS OR PALS CLASS: 
If you require BLS the same time as ACLS or PALS you may add "BLS Online Part 1 w/ Skills" from the shopping cart. You will be assigned the online learning module and you must complete this module and print the certificate and bring it with you to the ACLS or PALS course.

 TEXTBOOKS: 

Per American Heart Association regulations, all students must have access to the current appropriate American Heart Association course textbook for their individual use during and after all courses. Those who come to class without textbooks may be asked to reschedule. If you wish to purchase a book, you may order textbooks during the registration process or at the time of class. If you select the "Ship my book to me before class" option, any materials purchased will be shipped to the address provided within 2 business days of your registration. If you do not elect to purchase shipping, your materials will be waiting to be picked up at the time of class. Arrangements must be made to pick up any materials from the Training Center prior to your class. Book purchases are not covered by the coupon code. 

The AHA manuals are now available as eBooks for free through Kaiser. You can download the e-Book to your smart phone, tablet (either IOS or Android) or non-KP laptop and then take your device with you to you recertification course. If you have questions or technical issues regarding AHA e-Books, please contact kpLibraries NW using Ask a Librarian. 

A very limited supply of print materials may be available in your unit or medical office building on a first-come, first-served basis.  Ask your manager if they have loaner books available.
